From Pitch Events to the 49er Foundry to our Ventureprise Launch NSF I-Corps Cohorts, Ventureprise provides programming, mentoring and co-working space for students to develop their ideas.

Recent Student News

                         

This program consists of networking and mentoring opportunities, panels and interviews with community and campus leaders, asynchronous learning modules and in-person workshops – all focusing on customer discovery, design thinking, storytelling, innovation and collaboration.

The 49er Foundry Incubator Program is UNC Charlotte's student idea incubator program to help students launch and grow innovative ideas and ventures. With a new co-working space in PORTAL, student entrepreneurs have a collective, creative  space to work and meet.

Every semester, a pitch competition is open to all UNC Charlotte students. This semester we are hosting the 49er Impact Credential Program, which is semester-long and is celebrating and highlighting its participants with a pitch competition at the end.

Interested in earning course credit for working on your ideas? Want to learn more about entrepreneurship? Register for this 2 credit hour course and get started in Fall 2022.


Open to all UNC Charlotte students, the Undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship aims to satisfy the increasing societal demand for skill sets related to entrepreneurship, such as being able to recognize and evaluate opportunities or knowing how to create and communicate a vision.

Ventureprise Launch is designed for both UNC Charlotte students, faculty, and staff as well as community startups. Ventureprise Launch is best described as a boot-camp for innovators and is designed to challenge participants at every turn.
