Dr. Sean Christiansen

Dr. Sean Christiansen is the Director of Research & Technology at Albemarle Corp. He has championed technology commercialization within academia and commercial sectors with particular emphasis on fuel cell systems, chemistry, and material science initiatives. He has invested in over half a dozen early-stage start-ups, founded an angel investment group, and cofounded a university technology spinoff commercializing the production of nanomaterials. Sean holds an MBA degree along with a B.S. and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering.
