Entrepreneurial Program Specialist

Carrie Bovill joined the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation on September 1, 2022. Prior to coming to Charlotte, Carrie served as a Community Coordinator at Coastal Carolina University (CCU) where she was responsible for community engagement and chaired the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Prior to her time at CCU Carrie served as a Site Coordinator for the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative Duke Engage Program in Detroit, Michigan. Carrie collaborated with students, community leaders, local businesses and social entrepreneurs with a goal to help rebuild Detroit. Carrie is a published author and holds a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration of Community and Economic Development from Clark Atlanta University and a Bachelor’s of Art from Morris College.
