Milestone One: Intro to Entrepreneurial Mindset

Required

  • Complete a 5-7 minute assessment to get signed up for the program. We will contact you with additional information and get you signed up on Canvas to complete the program.
  • Entrepreneurial Thinking Module 1.

Pick 1 (1-1.5 hours)

  • Events will be added throughout the semester.

Milestone Two: Intro to Customer Discovery

Required

  • Entrepreneurial Thinking Module 2
  • Interview three people: During the first workshop you should have identified individuals you can interview to learn more about the problem you are trying to solve. Some of those individuals could be industry leaders, potential users of your idea, potential competitors, etc. Make sure you are intentional and have a clear understanding of what you want to learn form these individuals. Your conversations should be around fifteen to twenty minutes.

Milestone Three: Making Your Impact

Required

  • Entrepreneurial Thinking Module 3

Pick 1

  • Sign up to pitch your idea for the 49er Impact Pitch competition, part of the Charlotte Venture Challenge
  • Submit your pitch to Portfolium
  • Apply for an Internship: Sign up to work with a startup or non-profit through the University Career Center
